How are the paper reels protected against rain and sea moisture during ocean transit?
Every reel is wrapped in 3 to 5 layers of heavy extensible kraft linerboard with an internal PE moisture barrier film. Reel ends are fitted with corrugated circular discs and radial chine edge protectors, while container floors are lined with impermeable PE sheeting and Calcium Chloride desiccant bags.
